HTC Vive Pro

Professional-grade VR for the most demanding experiences

HTC VIVE Pro delivers immersion unlike any other. Its true-to-life precise SteamVR™ Tracking, ultra-vibrant colors, and uber-realistic sounds gives life to any reality and transports you to any scene in split seconds. It features Dual AMOLED 3.5-inch diagonal screens, high-resolution 3D spatial audio, and dual microphones with noise cancellation.

What’s more is that the HTC VIVE Pro is specifically engineered for ergonomics. With its auto-adjust lens distance and adjustable IPD, headphone, and head strap, you can enjoy any VR experience with ease and comfort.

Things to love about the HTC VIVE Pro

From our take, HTC VIVE Pro is possibly the best VR headset in the market at the time of this writing. You are sure to get an uncompromised VR experience with its enhanced optics and graphics, high-resolution soundstage, and powerful tracking technology.

Another thing to love about this gear is that it truly delivers on their promise of improved ergonomics. Despite the bulk, the headset fits snugly on your head and around your face, and its weight is evenly distributed, preventing any neck strain in spite of prolonged use.

Areas the HTC VIVE Pro can improve on

As a tethered device, the HTC VIVE Pro demands powerful hardware for you to be able to run it smoothly. From experience, it’s best to choose a 1070 or 1080 graphics card for a more seamless VR, as well as a good processor (at least Intel Core i5 or AMD FX 8350, or better), and sufficient memory.

The bulk of its base station, which you have to position around the room for tracking, may be an issue when it comes to space. It does offer an option for an untethered VR experience with its wireless adapter, though it’s sold separately, and is not an option for anyone on a laptop.

All in all, the HTC VIVE Pro promises the best-quality VR experience on the market, though it certainly isn’t the cheapest device.
